PostXpert: version history
====================================

Versions with an increased number at the end of the version number are
mainly bug fixes. Versions with additional functionality will have an
increased number directly after the dot.

For example, 1.1 has more functionality than 1.02, while 1.02 has no
significant extra functionality over 1.01.
You can always check out the PostXpert Home Page for the latest
version.

 + Special keywords can be used in the subject line to include the 
   attachment file name and other variables.

   {[ATTACHMENT_FILENAME]} - Inserts the attachment file 
   name where this keyword is found.

   {[MESSAGE_COUNT]} - Inserts the message number and
   the total count. Example: "1/3" for the first message,
   "2/3" for the second one and so on.

 + Attachments now show the shell image to the left of the name
   (Edit/Create Message Window and Main Window).

 + New: News Server Retry Count. Sometimes the news server can be busy or

 + Multilanguage support. Only English and Portuguese at the moment but we
   are looking into adding more languages.
 + It's now possible to multi-delete news groups by selecting more than one 
   news group from the list.
 + Logs: Added find button to search for specific text on the log file.
 + Pressing F1 now displays the help file.
 + Drop down menu added to the Send button. You can now send only the
   selected message or all marked messages.
 ! "Required "Newsgroups" Header is missing" error fixed.

   - Improved scheduler performance.

 + Project Settings:
   - It's now possible to set automatic random body characters
     based on the message body size (for example, 10%).
   - Moved the Add/Edit/Remove buttons for the news server to the
     General tab on the Projects Settings. It's now easier to change 
     news server information.

 + General Options:
   - New Tab: Dial-Up Networking
     If you have a dial-up connection use these settings to 
     automatically dial and disconnect when starting or ending 
     post jobs.

 + Messages:
   - By popular request it's now possible to post HTML messages.
     (HTML tab on the "Edit Message" window).
   - It's now possible to rotate message attachments.
   - Attachments list has been moved to it's own tab.
   - New field: Signature file. Allows pointing to a text file
     with a signature or text to append to the message body.

 + Newsgroups:
   - Improved the loading speed of the newsgroups list.

 + Newsgroup List
    - Mask selection speed improved by up to 300%
    - Added a progress bar to keep the user updated of the 
      program's status.
